Tuesday Tune-My Weekly Music pick

You may have noticed the music media player on the side of my page. Each Tuesday I will post a song that I like. You can listen to this song and if you like the song and want to purchase it or see what other songs the artist has you can click on the album cover and go to the web site for more info.

All of the music I post is free to listen to and can usually be found on garageband.com or podshow.com the artists are new independent artists. If you really like their music please help them out.

I will post all genres of music, but I am partial to Blues, Contemporary Christian, Rock, acoustic and heavy electric guitar riffs … enjoy!

Open DNS is the Bomb!

I just started using OpenDNS as my dns server I have noticed increased internet speed. My web pages load faster and some the features ore very helpful. It is also free! I have put a link to their website on my blog.Please read their site and the instructions on how to change your DNS settings all the way through before doing it.

Valentine’s Day! Bah!

Yesterday I forgot to mention happy Valentines day! Here is a lovely video to catch the spirit of this holiday, manufactured by the card companies and florists to suck up your money! Last night I went to Wal-Mart just to laugh at the poor saps who waited to the last minute to buy a card and grab the last of the overpriced roses! “Honey, I got you a card, it was the last one they had, and it says exactly what I think of you (ignore the part that says to mom) and These roses represent my love for you! in a few weeks they will whither and die!” Wow, what a great line! I am all about the romance!

The Super bowl is over and the Bears failed to overcome Peyton Manning and the Colts. I Remain a Bears fan, mainly because of a genetic defect passed on by my dad. Hopefully this video will help all those Bears fans out there to forget the dismal results of the 2007 super bowl. This is The long version of the super bowl Shuffle.
